Hybrid Instruction for Lean Six Sigma Certification

At GSU’s School of Extended Learning, we understand that on-campus daytime classes are not always feasible for many students due to work and family commitments or active military service. We also know that many people want to continuing learning throughout their lifetime so we have designed a broad range of courses and workshops to meet those diverse needs.

One example of the excellent training opportunities we offer is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification program.  This challenging course focuses on Advanced Lean Techniques and Six Sigma “Green Belt” methodologies.  As a student, you will be provided with all of the tools you need to be Green Belt certified and to become a practitioner of Lean Six Sigma at your organization.

So who benefits from this training?  It is perfect for anyone who is currently a college or graduate level student who wishes to get a competitive edge in the hiring process.  It is also a great way for corporate executives to train an “advance” team to bring the process to the whole organization.  Furthermore, displaced workers can use it to enhance their credentials and to become better prepared to meet future employment opportunities.

Currently our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is offered in a hybrid instructional form with four classes taken at our main campus location and three classes done online.  In the near future, we will be offering the highest level of training with our new Six Sigma Black Belt course.  Please check the School of Extended Learning’s website to find out when our next courses will be offered as well as to take a look at all of our other professional educational and training courses.
At GSU we believe that investing in lifelong learning leads employees toward more satisfying, productive working lives. We invite you to discover our many degree, certificate and individual course offerings listed on our website.  We look forward to helping you achieve your educational and career goals.
